Terms and conditions

Training within the UK

  • Please ensure that you provide us with correct and up to date contact details, and as much information as you can about what you would like to gain from your training. When this has been checked and agreed by both parties, we will ask you to sign and return this confirmation form. If any changes to these arrangements have to be made, please inform the trainer as soon as you can.
  • You will be invoiced by Kidscape in advance of your session for the fee, travel expenses, accommodation if applicable, and any other agreed costs. Payment is due in full within 30 days of when the invoice is issued. When paying, please be sure to include your  organisation's details. Please make cheques payable to 'Kidscape'.
  • Please note that a booking can only be transferred once.
  • If an organisation cancels within 30 days of the course start date there will be a cancellation fee to the amount of 50% of the agreed booking total. A cancellation within 5 working days of the course start date will require full payment of the course fee. In both cases the client will be liable to pay any non-refundable costs incurred e.g. travel already booked and paid for by Kidscape.
  • Please note that Kidscape reserves the right to alter the details of any training course at any time providing they inform delegates in a timely manner.
  • In the extremely unlikely event that Kidscape has to postpone training due to unforeseen circumstances, we will give as much notice as possible and will endeavour to rearrange a mutually convenient date as soon as we can.
  • Travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses are charged on top of training fees and will be added to the invoice where applicable. If the training is a full day, you are required to provide lunch for the trainer. If this is not possible, please inform the trainer so that they can make their own arrangements.
  • Where an overnight stay is necessary, subsistence includes lunch on the day of training, an evening meal and breakfast the following morning. As a guide, we will endeavour to keep costs to £20 a day (for lunch and dinner combined) and aim to have breakfast included in hotel costs. However, costs may vary subject to the understanding that some locations are more expensive than others, and choice may be limited.
  • Please note, no alcohol will ever be claimed for by Kidscape trainers.
