Big Lottery funding for ZAP assertiveness workshops

BIG Lottery Funded

Thanks to a successful application to the Big Lottery Fund, we are delighted to announce that our ZAP workshops for bullied young people are expanding to two new areas in 2015.

An award of £499,997 from BIG's Reaching Communities fund will enable us to begin delivery of ZAP in Birmingham and Newcastle-upon-Tyne alongside our continuing London workshops.

We are thrilled to build on the success of the current London-based work and to have the resources available to ensure this unique support is available to many more families in need. By the end of the three year period covered by the grant, it is estimated that our new national programme will reach 4,000 beneficiaries, making ZAP more accessible to hundreds of families throughout the UK.

We are currently preparing the programme for delivery, and will be posting updates on our website throughout the year. We are extremely grateful to the Big Lottery Fund for supporting ZAP in this way and look forward to starting this exciting new work.
