Primary BIT official launch

Kidscape is delighted to announce the launch of the Primary Bullying Intervention Training (BIT) project, which will enable primary schools in nine London boroughs to prevent bullying. During this time, nearly 600 professionals and 9,000 pupils will receive free support and anti-bullying training.

We are working in partnership with primary schools in Greenwich, Hackney, Haringey, Islington, Lambeth, Newham, Southwark, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest to deliver BIT from now until December 2014.

Primary BIT is funded by the Department of Education and will enhance professionals' skills and confidence in preventing and tackling bullying, as well as improving pupil peer relationships, self-esteem and assertiveness.
