Four ways your workplace can support Anti-Bullying Week

Anti-Bullying Week 2019 will run from the 11th-19th November. This year’s theme is ‘Change Starts With Us’ and it is a fantastic opportunity for you to show your commitment to tackling bullying.

Here are four ways you can get involved:

  1. Book a Help With Bullying In The Workplace workshop for your team. Bullying prevention is good business. The best workplaces take a preventative approach, ensuring staff are able to recognise bullying behaviours and are empowered to take positive action.
  2. Fundraise for Kidscape. You could donate a percentage of sales for the week, or hold a Friendship Friday walk with Elmer. Take some time out together to get to know each other, experience the benefits of walking and raise funds to help us support children and families who are going through bullying right now.
  3. Learn about cyberbullying together. We can provide a training session for your staff, exploring the risks and benefits of the online world and how they can keep their children safe from cyberbullying.
  4. Tell your network about Kidscape! We provide direct support to both children who are being bullied and their parents and carers. Will you share a message about Kidscape through your social media channels and networks? A message such as “We are proud supporters of Kidscape. Get help with bullying this Anti-bullying Week at www.kidscape.org.uk”.

Please get in touch via info@kidscape.org.uk to tell us how you will get involved and help us build a community of support where no child has to live in fear of bullying. We would love to hear from you!
