Use your Power for Good to support Kidscape during Anti Bullying Week

ABW 2016 logo

Anti-Bullying Week is an annual UK event held in the third week in November which aims to raise awareness of bullying and offer ways in which schools, organisations and individuals can work together to prevent it. It is organised by the Anti-Bullying Alliance in England.

Supporting Kidscape during Anti-Bullying Week gives your school the opportunity to raise awareness about bullying and promote your school’s anti-bullying policy. The money you raise will help us to support and protect more young people and professionals by giving them the skills to tackle bullying and keep children safe from abuse.

Campaign ideas

Why not use Anti-Bullying Week as a platform to create positive, long term change in your school. Here are a few examples of what your school could do:

  • Update your school’s anti-bullying policy
  • Create an anonymous reporting procedure
  • Circulate a survey to establish the level of bullying in your school
  • Implement a peer support programme

Classroom activities and assembly plans

In line with the aims of Anti-Bullying Week, Kidscape has put together classroom activities and assembly plans for KS2 and KS3. These PowerPoint documents will be sent with the resource pack on completion of the form below.

We are confident you will find these resources useful and engaging, and all we ask in return is for your school to think of Kidscape when fundraising during Anti-Bullying Week.
