First Give and Youth Philanthropy Initiative
First Give and Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) are separate organisations who work in partnership with young people - encouraging them to give their time and talents to improve local communities.
This is a student led initiative where school groups take part in a competition with their peers to raise money for a charity they have chosen to represent.
The Programme encourages an entire year group of students to identify social issues in their area and engage with local charities that address them. The students will then have the opportunity to compete for £1,500 of grant money by advocating for their chosen charity.
The First Give initiative helps to build a generation of motivated, socially aware young people and we are proud to work alongside the groups who choose to champion Kidscape.
YPI is an inclusive, multi-award-winning secondary school programme that grows compassionate communities by connecting youth to social issues, local charities, and philanthropy at a pivotal stage in their adolescence.
