Working for us

Kidscape Sessional Parent and Carer Worker - North East Region, England

  • £150 paid per half day session plus reasonable travel expenses

Kidscape is the anti-bullying charity that helps. Our vision is for all children to grow up in a world free from bullying and harm, with adults who keep them safe and help them to reach their full potential. Our mission is to provide children, families, carers and professionals with advice, training and practical tools to prevent bullying and protect young lives.

Kidscape has been running ZAP anti-bullying and assertiveness workshops for children and young people for the last fifteen years. Our ZAP workshops have been externally evaluated and are proven to reduce levels of bullying and raise the confidence of children experiencing bullying behaviour. ZAP workshops are free to children and their families. The workshop includes high impact group work with children and young people, and can also facilitate a supportive session with parents and carers.

We are looking to recruit sessional workers who can be available to deliver half day parent and carer group sessions in the North East region. These workshops are usually held in Newcastle, approximately once a month.

For more details please see the job description and person specification.

To apply for the role, please send your CV and a covering letter detailing relevant experience and how you meet the person specification to recruitment@kidscape.org.uk by Monday 30th April. We are only able to respond to candidates who successfully get through to the next stage of the recruitment process.
