Safeguarding Adults Awareness

The Kidscape Safeguarding Adults Awareness course is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge of what to look for to safeguard adults from harm, recognise signs of abuse, respond effectively and refer concerns appropriately.
Our courses are available either as a face-to-face delivery or as a live facilitated virtual training webinar. You can choose to learn on location within your organisation or from the comfort of your own home or office. You decide!
Content:
• Define adult abuse and neglect
• Recognise the signs and symptoms that may indicate the abuse
• Refer to the appropriate legislation and key messages applicable to safeguarding adults
• Respond appropriately to suspicion or knowledge that an adult may be at risk of harm
• Deal appropriately with disclosures

This course is suitable for all those whose job role involves working with vulnerable adults. It's suitable for workers of all levels, including managers, supervisors, staff, and volunteers.
