Kidscape training is open to anyone who works with children. We also work with children and young people directly. Kidscape trainers visit schools and other organisations to provide on-the-spot training. We offer long-term, one day, half day and twilight workshops and courses are often tailor-made to meet the individual needs of participants and institutions. We also offer specific sessions such as peer support and child protection training - please go to the relevant section for further information.
When working with children and young people in schools Kidscape trainers work with small groups, whole classes or year groups. We often work with all the teaching and non-teaching staff in a particular setting, but we can also address the needs of a specific group e.g. the senior management team, year heads, classroom assistants or parents. Kidscape sessions aim to be as interactive as possible and attempt to provide sound strategies based on practical experience, research and effective teaching techniques.
