Friendship Friday & Anti-Bullying Week

This year Friendship Friday will be celebrated on Friday 20th November, towards the end of Anti-Bullying Week. Every year Anti-Bullying Week is coordinated by the Anti-Bullying Alliance, the week long celebration is a fantastic opportunity to take a united stance against bullying and shine a spotlight on your brilliant bullying prevention, not just for Anti-Bully Week but all year round.

In 2019 we were delighted to introduce Elmer the Patchwork Elephant as the official partner of Friendship Friday and look forward to working together in 2020 to spread kindness to many more children and families throughout England and Wales.

We will soon be sharing resources that can be used with children and young people in the classroom and/or at home.

Early years - Kidscape and Elmer the Patchwork Elephant Kindness Pack

Key Stage 1 and 2 - Lesson plans (coming soon)

We are also delighted that many schools and individuals raise funds for Kidscape during Friendship Friday and Anti-Bullying Week.

Resources for Early Years

Friendship Friday encourages everyone to see they have a role to play in creating a world that is friendlier and kinder.

We passionately believe that children are never too young to start thinking, learning and talking about caring friendships, how to treat others, and what to do if someone is being unkind.
