29/05/2008 - Working with bullied children – ZAP unwrapped

The workshop will set out the way to help children who have been bullied by equipping them with the necessary skills & assertiveness strategies to challenge & prevent bullying. Workshop participants will learn and practise the techniques that the children are taught in our ZAP sessions.

24/06/2008 - Implementing the Anti-Bullying Ethos - Setting Up a ‘Telling Environment’

This workshop considers areas such as documentation (achieving ‘ownership’ of the anti-bullying policy), support structures, curriculum integration and whole school training programmes. It looks at positive and practical things you can do to ‘bully-proof’ your school.

15/07/2008 - Peer Support

The workshop aims to give teachers and other participants the tools to set up a peer support project in their schools. The session content has been drawn from the experience of setting up peer support schemes in numerous primary and secondary schools. There are different models of peer support and these are examined in the workshop.
