The Edinburgh Marathon and Hairy Haggis Team Relay 2008
Take part in the ultimate challenge while enjoying
the sights of Edinburgh – join the Kidscape Edinburgh
Marathon team!
Date of Event: Sunday 25th May 2008
The Edinburgh
Marathon is not just a marathon, but a festival
of fun with one of the best atmospheres of any race you will
attend. The race route is spectacularly scenic, taking
runners past Edinburgh’s many of famous landmarks. Entertainment
will spur you on throughout the route, and it promises to be
a fantastic day! Be part of Kidscape’s Edinburgh
Marathon team, and go the 26 miles to help bullied
and abused children.
Alternatively, if 26 miles seems like a bit much for just
one person, share the fun and enter the Hairy Haggis Team
Relay and split the Marathon between 4 friends
or family (the longest leg would be 8 miles, the
shortest 5 miles). Whether you’re doing the
full Edinburgh Marathon or the Hairy Haggis Team Relay, Kidscape will
support you every step of the way.
By signing up with Kidscape, you will get dedicated one-on-one
support and care throughout the event, fundraising and training
advice and helpful hints. Not only this, but you will
get a personalised running vest and training t-shirt so anyone
and everyone can cheer you on, support packs for friends and
family, and fundraising packs with all the advice you could
want.
