Sandra Shipton has been the Co-ordinator for Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) for Coventry LEA since1998.
Previous to this appointment she was, for eleven years, head of a multi-ethnic inner city community primary school in Coventry.
Sandra manages the 'Coventry Health Promoting School Scheme' and believes that paying attention to enhancing the emotional health and well being of both pupils and staff is crucial to the overall success of any school.
She was a member of the National Advisory Group for PSHE and has recently contributed to the QCA Citizenship Schemes of Work.
